Pizzeria Badiali
Pizzeria Badiali is a highly sought-after Toronto neighbourhood slice shop inspired by classic New York and Brooklyn pizzerias. Founded by three former Bar Isabel chefs, the brand is celebrated for its two-day fermented dough, raw California tomato sauce, and carefully sourced ingredients. Guests can grab a quick slice cut from 19-inch jumbo pies on a paper plate or preorder 16-inch whole pies online. The menu features classics like Pepperoni and Margherita alongside inventive options like Capicola and Pineapple, plus a signature creamy pepperoncini dip.
The original location operates out of a Victorian corner building at 181 Dovercourt Road, offering a dog-friendly patio and open-kitchen counter seating, though it is known for long lines and lacks wheelchair accessibility. A second, larger location in Mirvish Village (581 Markham Street) provides more indoor seating and an exclusive grandma-style pizza. Both locations are open daily from 11:30 AM to 10:00 PM, serving up a nostalgic, high-quality pizza experience.
